I'm guessing the reason dadaroo asked his question is that IF the switch is working it's probably NOT the relay...but, I'm am still learning about all this high tech electronic stuff.
The same relays are activated by the switch and the FOB. So we know they are good and obviously the motor which locks and unlocks the mechanism is working.
So it would appear that there is some issue with the door control module itself or in the serial bus circuit to the door. I really doubt that there is any issue in providing the signal from the BCM.
OP, pull your dash DIC codes and I am sure you will see an issue related to this.
Most likely it is in the connection at the door inside the A-Pillar. It can be reached by pulling back on accordion boot and inspecting the connections at that connector. Common issue among the C5s.

Just to be different I'm going to say that if the switch did NOT work then the relays are possibly OK but the motor for the lock is likely what is bad. I'm sure he will correct one of us................
