4l60e swap. 1st post help needed
I have a 2001 A4 corvette and recently bought a used 4l60e rpm stage 5 transmission from a friend who had it in a 2002 trans am ws6 car. Will this transmission bolt right up to my differential? Any special tools needed during the swap? Any walk through or advice? Thanks in advance. I'm new at this. -John Rinacke

The 4l60e out of an F-Body is completely different then the C5 4l60e trans. There is nothing interchangeable as far as the trans case/mounting etc. They don't even mount in the same location...LOL
You should get your money back because that trans isn't going in a C5.
You better start googling some pics before buying stuff for a C5 if you're just starting out with one.
