I would like to say "Thanks" to all of you folks for the great info. from this site concerning the care of preparing for a long distance trip with my 98 C5.
Long story short. I left northern Colorado to western N.Y., picked up my son, headed to Gettysburg, on to Charlotte for the NASCAR 600.
A total of 5197 miles round trip ( with a stop to visit Chip at CCA) which was completed and onward to the race. And on to Colorado.
Net results were the best road trip I've ever had in my 68 years and I contribute a lot of my success to you knowledge folks.
Now that's what I call a road trip. The thousand miles each way that I drive to Georgia twice a year for a grudge racing event has nothing on that. LOL
Awesome... do we have any pics? Glad you had such a wonderful trip...
we'll be in your country next month riding Harley's ...
Waiting for my son to send pics. If you're in the Ft. Collins area by all means look me up in the phone book under Shearing. I always have a cold one on hand. Have a great trip.

No doubt in my mind that your trips to Ga. are as exciting and fulfilling for you as was my trip. Let us all remember that we're all dead longer than we are alive. With that said, we should all live life to it's fullest every day.
