Horn Problem
My Vette is '99 FRC. When I am driving down the road with the steering wheel at the 9-3 position - no matter where I try getting the horn to blow nothing happens. When I am at a stop the same is true. When I make a turn - wheel at 10-4 or 8-2 position - the horn blows load and clear. When I am at a stop the horn blows just fine. If I move the steering wheel toward perpendicular I have no problem. Anyone's help appreciated.

The horn membrane (switch) in the steering wheel has to be connected to the cars wiring while the steering wheel is being rotated. One wire is spring loaded and connected to a ring in the column so it has power at all times. Here is a link that will show you what I am talking about. You are going to have to go into the column and see what is wrong with that interface. Not really a hard thing to do. I have all the guidance you need at home if you want to DIY. Let us know.
