IS THIS CAM TOO BIG?
I recently took my car to a local shop to discuss putting a different cam in my 382 stroker and they came up with this: 237/242 = 560/565 Lunati. I've never seen a cam this high on the duration side on a 382. I thought the MTI R1 which is 232/237 was the biggest cam for a 382 stroker. I did tell them that I only drive the car for fun on weekends and drag racing and that I wanted an extremely choppy idle thats sounds mean as hell. Has anyone used a cam bigger than 232/237 duration on a 382? Thanks in advance.

Looks pretty heavy. I hope you don't have epilepsy because you may feel like you do after an hour of hard driving. That is a HUGE cam!!! Must be a kick to the groin.
