The stock C6 **** has no threads, it attaches with a set screw. The stock C5 **** will screw onto the B & M with no issues. You can buy a threaded C6 **** from several forum vendors as well as online auction sites.

I found a really nice leather Euro one and it works perfect. It is also a little taller and extends the short stick of the B&M to a comfortable height. Finally, it is cheaper than most as well - search around.

Forget the adapters that come with it. Screw it right down into the rubber innards and use the 3 Allen screws to set.
