Default Mcleod clutch question

So the Dyno tuning is finally done and results are as follows:
Base Line (totally stock with the exception of a twin cone filter CAI) 309.04 RWHP/ 315.40 RWTQ (SAE)

NA Run 398.09 RWHP/ 385.50 RWTQ (SAE) H/C/I LT and exhaust

Nitrous spray 150 HP Jet Wet system LS Plate 543.81 RWHP/ 610.51 RWTQ (SAE)

I am overall pretty satisfied though I was optimistically hoping to break closer to 420-425 RWHP/TQ in NA mode but would be satisfied with 400. I am looking now in another thread for suggestions on how to accomplish that without another small fortune. But again I am not totally unpleased given the components in the build and the current cost.

But the question here is one of preempting a clutch issue. There is a brand new LS7 clutch and flywheel, GM slave and throw out bearing, and a Tick Adjustable master installed. The shop was worried with the nitrous output especially in torque that the LS7 clutch may not last long if the nitrous is used heavily. Not planning to do that, but got me thinking of alternative clutches. The one that seems to have a good rep is the Mcleod RST twin. In looking into it however, it says it only works with an LS1/6 flat flywheel. My understanding is the new LS7 flywheel just installed is a stepped flywheel and will not work with the Mcleod clutch. So is it better to go with a new LS6 flat flywheel or the Mcleod flywheel made to go with the clutch for the LS1? Or is there a conversion plate to mate the LS7 flywheel to the clutch? This car will not see constant track runs or be on the nitrous that often, but just trying to stay ahead of the issues. Thanks for any input.

I can't comment on what will or won't work I'm sure the experts will chime in or you could call mcleod but I have had a rst and currently have the rxt. I absolutely love this clutch feels like stock but will handle pretty much whatever you throw at it. The only difference between the rst and rxt is the disk material. I have there flywheel also

Did you have problems with the RST and had to change to the RXT?

No problems with it, it wasn't installed correctly but the shop that I had it done and I never took it back. I was gonna have it rebuilt since they are rebuildable but one of the vendors was having a sick deal for a new one for the price of a rebuilt one so it was a no brainer. I installed this one myself have pics in a build thread and its my favorite.I have had the stocker of course and a spec. That spec literally broke apart. It was a manufactures defect but I decided not to purchase again. I should of just went rxt from the beginning. I am also boosted and drive it hard.
