Default Anyone had problems with Taylor Thundervolt ignition wires?

I've had performance problems like going the 1/4 mile at 12.95@115mph with 500rwhp  Recently a valve spring broke(cylinder 6) and we had to remove the head(dropped valve). We noticed that cylinder 2 was washed clean and cylinder 4 was full of oily soot. After some troubleshooting checking all electrical connections to the ignition coils we finaly checked the ignition wires. This is what we found:

Cylinder - Ignition wire ohms
1 61
2 3630
3 352
4 950
5 45
6 36
7 30
8 33

Notice the big diffs in ohms, for some reason the highest ohms are at the cylinders that have not worked so well. I bought a new set of Magnecore wires, they are all at 1230ohms

The Taylors was used for one year (6000miles) so to me it looks like the Taylors are a low quality wire. Anyone else?

Maybe I have two bad ignition coils in combination with bad wires but how do I check the coils?

Thanks.
