Auto Transmission Has Water

The radiator in my 2003 Anniversary Edition cratered internally. Radiator has been replaced but now what do I do about the water in the transmission? The transmission has less than 4k miles on it. Will a power flush remove the water? I've been told (my buddy knows someone who .....) I'll need to replace the torque converter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any water in the trans,if you run it the water turns to steam and breaks the bonding on the clutch discs !!!!!!!!!!!

I've talked to one guy who doesn't do 'Vettes, but said that once water is in the transmission a full rebuild is called for.
