I'm having trouble finding a way to either fix or replace this part. It is the large plastic bezel that runs along the roof on the rear of the car. It has two main holes in it where support bolt from the removable top slides in to.
The driver side of this plastic piece has warped over time, and now makes it VERY difficult to put the top back on. It has warped down partially covering the receiving slot for the removable top bolt.
If anyone knows the part number or where to find a replacement, please let me know! Or better yet if you know how to fix it :-)

If it is warped and you need to replace it, give Marc at VetteNuts a call. He most likely has one from a wrecked Vette in stock. If he doesn't, try Corvette Recycling.
I've had that issue on my car. It's caused by someone, maybe previous owner, buckling the top back on with the rear pin on TOP of that piece instead of THROUGH that hole. You can fix it pretty easily by removing it, lay it on a flat surface, upside down and heating it up and let it sag. A hair dryer may work. I used a heat gun. No need for a replacement.
Same issue on my car. Not sure if it's warped or if it's GM quality engineering. Search for targa halo or something like that. Not sure what the exact part is called.

I am sure Marc can fix you up if you need a replacement. Great Forum vendor here.
It is slightly warped like I said above. It is cause by installing the roof panel with the rear pin ABOVE that piece instead of through that hole in that piece. You can remove it, law it upside down and heat it with a hair dryer while bending it down and that should straighten it up a little. There is a small hole with a pin, yours probably doesn't have the pin inside and just rear of that hole. If there is no pin find one and put it in. It will hold it more in place. I am missing that same pin right now. Just make sure when you install the top, hold that piece UP inside to make sure the top pin goes through that hole.

reath1 is exactly right. When I bought the car, the top was installed exactly as he said.
I ended up fixing that part this weekend. Removing the part was super easy, just 2 plugs on either side then pull down.
After I had it out I used a heat gun to warm the warped part up. I focused on the outside of it first, bending it to the desired angle while warm and held it in that position until it cooled down.
Repeated the same procedure on the larger, more general corner warped area (warm, set, cool).
After about 20 minutes the part had the right angles again and everything fit perfect!
