Default Nitrous Express Direct Injection Methanol - LS6 Intake

As part of a larger project I'm doing, I had spent a bit of time working on my own direct methanol injection setup and was almost there when I ran into a couple of delays in getting parts made so, when I saw that NX was offering direct injection methanol setups for LS systems, I contacted Billy at NX. We discussed what I was looking for and I shipped him one of my two LS6 intakes so he could fab a system for me. In the meantime, I took the opportunity to paint my other LS6 intake. The plan was to transfer the NX setup from the unfinished intake to the painted one. When I received the finished setup from NX it appeared doable so I executed the transfer yesterday.

Billy at Nitrous Express did a great job on this! Before he started, he asked me to call him and he took the time to discuss what I wanted in detail to ensure he was building exactly what I was looking for. He delivered a well-built system that made it easy for me to swap it over and it fits perfectly with the aftermarket rails I added after I got it back from NX.

I have to say, I'm impressed with NX's customer service, turn-around time and quality. I was expecting some push-back on a couple of the requests I made but they just listened and gave me what I asked for. Give them a call if you're looking for nitrous, fuel or meth systems. They are a forum vendor.

Also, special thanks to neutron82 for his help with the painting process. He answered numerous questions I had about the great job he did on his intake and he gave me several tips. This was a rattle can job I did in my garage. Check it out.

You'll have to move the Y block forward to get the feed line in front of the wiper tray

Y block should be fine if I pull the hard 90 off and use a 90 fitting with a braided feed - I was planning to do this after seeing the long 90 when I got it. The custom setup I had I'd already fit feed lines under the wiper tray along with the fuel lines I had back there. This will actually relieve some of that clutter.

looks fantastic... keep up the good work and we will be looking forward to the finished product... on a side note, what brand rails are those?... I like how all the mounting hardware is in the back and hidden... my fast rails have a long allen head bolt that goes through the side of the rail and into the mounting block so you can see the hardware on the outside, not a huge deal but when you start trying to make things look nice the smallest things will jump out at you

Man Ed I cant wait until your car is done. The time and dedication not to mention all the little details you put into the car is just inspiring.
