Yesterday I installed my new DBA T2 rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads, cleaned the rotors with brake clean etc. This morning I got up early and went to go bed them in. Drove back home and noticed they just didn't look right to me. Looks like only part of the pad it touching the rotor and the part it is touching looks a little scared. Does this normal or not. Car seems to stop just fine but just looks weird.
Are those NEW rotors ?? They seem to be awfully scored to have just been bedded in
Did the rotors have a coating on them when new ?? I know mine had an anodized black coating on them and until the coating wore off they looked somewhat strange too--
I used a different brand though of rotors-----
Why did you choose ceramic pads ?? From what I've read they are good for eliminating brake dust and keeping your wheels clean--But not really a performance pad
Are you sure those rotors are compatible with ceramic pads ?

Rotors had no coating them. I chose the ceramic pads because I ran them on my GTO with zero problems.
