Clutch Replacment.
My clutch started going out this weekend on my 01 Z. Hard to get in 1st and starts making a grawing sound when it goes in. Then as you let out on the clutch it grinds bad but once the peddal is out the grinding goes away. Think thats metal to metal at the disc and pressure plate or fly wheel. Able to go throw the gears but you can still hear the grawing.
It has a spec stage 3 in it. So I was told. Planning on going with the tick ls7 kit. Think its 949.00 for everything. Was told the car makes 430 hp not sure about torque. I do not plan on doing anything esle to the car. Like the idea of better drivablity and reliability from the ls7 clutch. Figured i might as well rebuild the torque tube why its apart.
Thought and opinion would be Appreciated! Planning on doing the work my self.
