First experience with MTI and Mcleod Adjustble Master..
I just ordered the 2nd Mcleod Adjustable from MTI and very pleased with the service. Chris took my order quickly and turned me from being :mad to being :D. Short story: I ordered the Mcleod from TR and they shipped me a Camaro Adj. MC which wont fit. I called and explained the situtation and they said they would have a new one out by tuesday. Well guess what they dont have any and neither does Mcleod. I would highly recommend MTI. I saved 10 bucks and shipped it 2nd day air.
With the Mcleod Adj MC, how do you adjust the throw? Do you simply turn the rod with a pair of vice grips or do you spin the heim joint on the end? I would assume you would rotate the rod and lock the nut after the adjustment is correct. Thanks for a quick reply.

To adjust the throw on the master cylinder:
Once you have the adjustable unit installed, you will need to adjust the unit to the engagement point you like. This is done by simply removing the retaining clip, loosening the nut with a 9/16" wrench and turning the rod 1-2 turns at a time clockwise to move the engagement point toward the floorboard or counter clockwise to move the engagement point upward. Complete this procedure until you are comfortable with the install. Replace the retaining clip; a set of needle nose pliers does a fine job for limited space available.
