Window motors failed, 2nd time!
Hello Gents,
I have just ordered my second set of replacement motors for my 03 c5 and am wondering why they keep breaking. It is ALWAYS the little clip that guides the cable in that snaps and causes a grinding noise while the window is going up or down, sometimes after it breaks it gets caught and will stop the window all together.
What can I do to make this stop? I am so tired of pulling the door on and off.....

Are these GM replacement parts?
I replaced both windows regulators several years ago and they are still working perfectly. On my 2004 C5, the part numbers are 15781690 and 10344131. Cost is around $180 each. It is a complete assembly.
Be aware that the electrical connector may be different on one. I got a compatible connector that made it work.
