Default swapping ls1 to ls6 intake

guys i have a 99 ls1 vette and a 2002 ls1 camaro.

i want to swap the ls6 intake from the camaaro to the corvette, and put the ls1 intake from the vette to the camaro.

what parts will i need? from doing some searching and reading it looks like the only things ill need to put the ls6 intake on my 99 vette is : one Coolant Pipe part # 12602544 and one Coolant Plug part # 12602540.

what about swapping ls1 intake onto my 2002 ls1 camaro? will i need any additional parts for that?

Unfortunately there is no provision to bolt the throttle cable bracket to the ls1 intake for the camaro. You can try and pull the inserts out of the ls6 manifold and put them in the ls1.

You could swap the coolant lines from each car.

no need for new coolant lines when you can just grind off the fins.

Does the Camaro manifold have a hole for an EGR pipe?

ODD, I have a 2001 WS6 LS1 $ T56 in my '56 Coupe and it has a mechanical throttle and now removed EGR.

Rear Oxy sensors, EGR, and MAF removed, hot cam and power tune,
No stinky prior or after power tune.

A ls6 intake swap is worth about an honest 10-12 RWHP on a stockish engine---However if you ever plan on a cam change or head change it is an absolute must otherwise you will not get the full benefit of you cam or heads---
PS: While you have the intake OFF----Most everyone will also replace the LS1 valley cover with a LS6 valley cover----Reason being a LS engine is notorious for sucking in oil into your intake via the PCV system----
While it's out look into your LS1 intake--It is most likely full of oil !!!! The LS6 valley cover is cheap like $75 and it re-routes the PCV system---It does take some minor work to make it fit like -Some grinding of some aluminum at the front of the head---
Cleaning up the oil from your intake is worth the effort---The oil creates carbon deposits over time and contaminates the air charge
