Went out to hop in car and go to local cruise night ,But car didn't want to go . Car would not start turned over and everything ,Just wounld not fire up. I remembered this happened about three years ago. I remembered that last time I just switched out relay for fuel pump and horn and that solved problem. So I did same thing and problem solved . Question is what is the odds that fuel pump relay just went bad or is there a more of a problem. Checked codes and B0516 H B0361HC B2527C came up. The B2527 horn I'm assuming it's from when I pulled relay, the B0361 is for the actuator which was repaired late last fall. The B0516 H I don't remember seeing before speed signal circuit malfunction What is that? Thanks for your help.
I did look at the prongs at bottom of relay they looked clean no dirt /corrosion or black markings. When this happened a few years back I did buy new relay for fuel pump and put other good relay back to horn and thru out bad one. Going to buy another one tomorrow.

did you use an oem relay when you replaced it the first time?... I have seen some of the generic chinese relays crap out fairly quick, the oem omron/tyco relays are pretty stout and you can get them from amazon/ebay for pretty cheap... a loose terminal inside your fuse box could also cause it to fail in a short amount of time due to increased resistance/heat... take your failed relay apart and use one of the pins to slide into each of the fuel pump relay terminals in your fuse box... you should feel some resistance when pushing the pin into the terminal, if it slides freely into the terminal then you have a few options... you can replace the fuse box with a known good one, try to open up the fuse box and repair the loose terminal(s), or use a drop of solder on the relay pins and this will make them fit just a bit tighter but be aware that by doing this you will probably spread the terminal(s) open even farther

Use quality relays ONLY. In my experience the OE relays are overall quite good. The only exception being the OE relays on the R/LDCMs. They're under-designed in the current handling department.
When this happened the first time relay was replaced with a Omron 8567 from a GM dealer. Today went to buy another one and was told part /part number has changed , new number is #19116057 and number on new relay is GM 2752. I will break off one of the pins off old relay and check out terminal , but I do remember it was tight and hard to pull out of terminal. Quick question when I pulled relay that didn't work for fuel pump but worked when I put back into horn , When I pulled relay out did it reset or open and that's why it worked on horn . Assuming of course that my terminals at both locations are good and not in need of any repair? Thanks for all your help.
