2004 Le Mans Commemorative 'Vert 101k miles. Yep, like it says, I have a whining noise from left rear. Swapped rear tires ... still whine from left rear. (swapped back, I know they are directional) Most likely left hub, correct?
Question, should I replace both hubs or just the one making noise?
Does the whine change when you turn left or right. If it does in one direction and not the other then you probably have a bad wheel bearing. If so I would replace the pair.
I had this kind of issue on my 02 coupe where when turning to the right the whine went away. Ended up replacing both hubs with the left one being bad.

It starts off quiet when cold. After about a mile or so whining noise gets noticeable. It's definitely coming from driver's side rear. I'm going to put it on jacks tomorrow and try to confirm it's the hub.
