Default GM relay 8567

I had a earlier post regarding relay /fuel pump. I went and bought a new relay from local GM dealer. Old relay was marked Omron 8567 12088567. GM dealer told me part # has changed . New relay say GM 2752 13502752 made in Japan. Questions are 1 Did I get correct info from dealer regarding part # change. 2 My old relay was made in Canada and is more of a beige color and not dark gray. 3 Looking on amazon/ Ebay I can't seem to find a NEW relay the best I can find is pulled from o mile factory left over fuse box. Are there NEW Omron 8567 out there for purchase. Sorry for long thread just not knowledgeable regarding relays and want GM not after market relays.

is the new one denso?... if so, denso is a good brand and I wouldn't worry about it... they make a lot of factory parts for honda and probably most other japanese cars as well... have you installed it yet and did it fix your issue?... if you really want the 8567 I have a used spare I could send you but I think you will be fine

I am a sure that is a Denso relay. OP, it should say so right on the side. They are good relays, use it without concerns. That GM P/N is for the Denso.

neutron82 yes it is a Denso and I have not installed yet will do in a few minutes I didn't want to take out of plastic bag until I new it was a good relay to use. When I switched out relays fuel pump /horn earlier that has solved starting problem. I will check to make sure Denso relay also works and solves problem. Also thanks for the offer of sending me a used 8567 relay , if you and dadaroo say they are good I will go with Denso. dadaroo it is the same relay that was in your link. I think I will get a few extra . Thanks again I'm out to try new relay. I will post results so you and others will know results.

I installed Denso relay car starts and runs good . I did notice on the Omron relay and the Denso relay the wiring drawing on side of relay . Omron upper left number above drawing is 85 lower left is 86, Denso is upper 86 lower 85 numbers are switched is that a concern ? MY Denso number under made in Japan is 9294A . dadaroo link has 7240B1 both mine and dadaroo link has GM 2752 13502752 on top of relays. What is the difference or no difference for what I 'm using it for thanks again.

Those terminal numbers are for the coil of the relay. On some relays one terminal has to be positive and the other negative because they have a diode installed across the coil and the diode is polarity sensitive. But, I can't see GM switching terminals on a new replacement part unless it was OK to switch them. There is something shown across the coil but it's probably a voltage suppressor that isn't polarity sensitive.

GM relays for the C5 can be put in 2 ways and they will work. The pins are arranged in a rectangle to allow them to do that. The coil pins are on opposite sides and on opposite corners. The switch contacts are the same way.

What is even more unique is that in some years the wires coming into the fuse box relays have them landing at the opposite locations under the fuse box. If the installation of the relays mattered they would have different relays for different years. This variation makes having the schematics for all years a must to do diagnostics on which pin is supposed t have power or ground for example.
