Best Harness Bar and Kit?

Best Harness Bar and Kit?
What is the best harness kit out there for very limited use? I don't want to modify the car I'd like to be able to pull the harness out w/o much trouble.

I went with the cross-bar because it was a good price, it also comes with a video mount and on optional fire bottle mount.
It is also completely bolt in and simple to install, you could remove it and put it back in if you wanted to without much effort.

I am a huge fan of R-D Racing Cross Bar and I think he has a special going now. A good design that seems to pass all sanctioning bodies inspections. Check out the C5 group buys for best price and http://www.r-dracing.com/ for more information. Also E-mail Dave if you have any questions. I have never met or talked to Dave but his responses via E-mail were prompt and concise. I have "sold" several after people have seen how it installs in my car.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think that this is NHRA Legal. More just for show?

I do not see anything on his web site that says it is in compliance with NHRA rules and specifications.
Correct me if I am wrong.
I say this because I have a roll bar installed in my C5.
I have learned to be apprehensive.
Is it Chrome-Moly material?

When my track events are done I can pull the belts back through the seats and fold them behind the seat. You can't tell you've got harness' in unless you look close. The black powdercoat really blends in with the interior.
Dave has always been very helpful and it's also nice to be able to email him directly for questions.

If its purpose is just for attaching the harness, and or camera, I say ok.
As long as it is not looked at as a roll bar!

All, I ordered the R-D "Cross-bar" Harness Bar this morning. Thanks for the input.
bruce1 -- The purpose of the harness bar is to hold me securely and solidly in my seat while under hard cornering and braking, and in the unfortunate event of an accident. It is NOT for roll over protection. No Harness Bar is. That is the function of a Roll Cage/Bar, which can usually server double duty as a harness anchor point as well.
It's not just for looks, and not just for a camera mount. It does serve a purpose -- to help you drive better on a road course (or autocross) and for safety.
