Batt Relocate/Grounding - Will this work?

Batt Relocate/Grounding - Will this work?
I'm relocating my battery to clear some space for my TT build. Please check out the photo below and let me know if I can ground in this fashion? I'm going to ground the battery at the remote location. I basically just want to chop the battery Grounding cable and run the (block ground....?) the the stock chassis ground the arrow is pointing to. Thoughts?

I'm in the process of doing the same relocation mod and that location is where I'm grounding the block to as well. In fact, that's where the Sac City Big 3 grounds the block at. Clean the area thoroughly and make sure you have a solid ground to the frame bare metal.
