295/45/18 nitto 555 extremes !!!

Default 295/45/18 nitto 555 extremes !!!
99 frc thinking about getting nitto 555 in 295/45/18 on 18x10.5 wheels , will they fit without rubbing . The cars not lowered and really don't want to . Also for the front I was thinking 255/50/17 on 17x9.5 wheels . The 295's are 28.3 tall the 255's are 27.09 would I have traction control problems . There would be about 1.25 inch difference . What do you guy's think. I know handling wouldn't be as good .

Yes but I also want to get rid of those hideous wagon wheels , and I need new tires !

I rubbed with the 45's, but, I'm lowered on stock bolts. (3/4")
