c1271 c1273 need info
Whats different now is that also throwing c1271 and c1273 as well. which are:
C1271 Front Master Cyl Isolation Valve Malf
C1273 Rear Master Cyl Isolation Valve Malf
They seem to have exasperated the abs light issue further
I looked up the part TCS Valve Solenoid its pretty inexpensive.
My question is can I get some general information on this part? How difficult is it to install? And am I even going in the right direction?
Anything you know about this situation would help. thx
With C1255 you can have no ABS, TC, or AH so I would recommend you try to resolve the EBCM issue before you throw money at these codes.
Remember the solenoid valves are in the EBCM which no one fixes for 97-00 at this point from my understanding.
Even if the BPMV is the problem you still need to deal with the EBCM. With C1255 I don't see how anyone could go through the diagnostics to see if the BPMV is an issue.

Sorry for the issue. Personally, I don't care if I have any of those EBCM features but it does affect car value.
What have you done to see if C1255 can be corrected? I have seen one case where it was corrected by addressing a bad connector and ground issue. Normally however when it is a hard locked in code it just can't be fixed on any year C5..
