Default P0200 code injector fault please help

I had a hesitation for a few days then really rough running. Engine light showed code P0200 injector fault I traced the problem to broken pink wire at #1 injector.got no test light when touching pink terminal with key on engine off . Fixed the wire and same problem, basically the header tube is only half as hot as the others. I then thought injector, so i have been wanting to turn up the boost lately and had a new set of siemens 80 lb injectors i threw them in rescaled my injector table, Same problem header tube 1/2 as warm and stumbles bad smell etc. I read somewheres that the ignition coil has something to do with driving the injector to but was unsure.so i am on to testing the coil using standard ohm test. if the ground wire to the injector(black) is timed by the ecm how do I go about checking the black wire. I have all the tools needed to do this.I also installed new spark plugs and yes the fuses are all ok.
I really like to know how to check the black wire and if it is pin 36 on pcm is there a history of corrosion with this problem?I looked at the pcm with the cover panel on the passenger wheelwell removed and it all looks dry and dusty so i dont think there was ever a moisture problem.

Thanks all I understand Bill Curlee is the guru for this type of diagnosis

Can't help with schematic information if I don't know what year the car is.

The only tie between the coils and the injectors that I am aware of is from the schematics, they are served by the same fuse for each bank.

can i stick my test light on the pink wire of the injector then ground it to the black wire of the same injector then start the car and see if the blinks are out of rythm? this will tell me if i have a intermittent ground or power going to the injector.

OK, it is Pin 36 on C1, the Blue connector. Here is the connector view.

Your trouble shooting idea might work if the test light can light/flash in the REALLY small amount of time. It might just stay lit. Worth a try. Might just have to verify continuity.

thanks mr sam
so whats the check continiuty procedure for black wire from injector to pin 36.
seems i would need to lengthen the lead on my multimeter to reach over to the wire at the pin in the pcu behind the passenger tire?

Correct, you will need to have some extra test lead length.
