Best headers for the C5
What is your opinion for the best C5 header?
Cost no object.

LGM I'm sure are great, but for the money, and unless you have big head/cam and/or strocker, FLP is the best bang for the buck! Look at my RWTQ numbers!!

Re: Best headers for the C5 (Devil Dog)
My question "Is there a best"? There are a number of individuals that are extremely satisfied with their headers and have the numbers to back it up. From my standpoint and after many hours of research and discovery, the FLP headers were my choice due to a number of reasons but mostly for the versitility of the product. The quality, fit, finish and results just added to the mix and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I know I made the correct choice for my needs... :yesnod:

I have LPE headers I don't know who they get them from but the quality is very good, right down to the convergance cone inside the 4 into one. :smash:

With all the Stainlessworks models hitting the streets soon, I'd like to see that added to the poll at a later date. Bet it will score high.:)

Yes, but how much of that is due to the (unlocked?) converter vs the headers? Asked another way, where is your torque peak?

Re: Best headers for the C5 (DallasC5)
overall, imo, the LGs are probably "the best" because of their true long primary design. LGs headers on big cube motors are a no brainer. on not so big motors? not sure. FLPs are an excellent choice because they are complete, from the engine to the exhaust flanges...
again, imo only.

FLP's are the best for the money and the DIY'er, (no welding or cutting.)
Although I don't like the way LG acts on the forum I would say overall his header system would produce the most gain on a heavily modified C5.

Yes it is a shame how some members have treated us.
We stand behind our work and our headers and strive to make them the best available for the C5. :yesnod:
