Default 2004, no cruise control in 6th gear

Cruise control works normal in 5th gear but now when I set it in 6th gear I get the normal msg "Cruise set at mph" then shortly after get the "Cruise Disengaged" msg but no cruise.
I checked both the clutch and brake pedal switches and they appear to be ok.
Cruise has never given any problems until now.

Any ideas ?
Thanks

Codes are:

40 BCM B0502 HC
B0507 HC
B2462 HC

99 HVAC B0361 H

Interesting that I tried pulling codes with Diablo handheld and it showed No Codes.
DRL codes are likely to fuse being pulled to disable DRLs
Not sure about backup lights or HVAC.

I did clear all codes so can see if get any new ones

After morning test drive, cruise works normal in 5th gear but no 6th gear and also no cruise in 4th gear either.
Pulled codes before shutting engine off and same codes as last night but the B2462 is actually B2482 (my mistake) which is backup light circuit.
The HVAC code is gone.

Any info ?

Try lifting the clutch pedal with your toe ... possibly switch
Try lifting the brake pedal with your toe ... possibly switch
Try using the CC with the AC/TC OFF... possibly steering position sensor

Problem solved, ha

I had a Diablo tune that has been in car since Feb and went back to the original OEM tune and Cruise control back to normal in all gears.

But with original tune comes the very high cooling fan temps which I don't like so I went back in with the Diablo and lowered the cooling fan temps and put in tire size only and installed Diablo tune again and cruise good again in all gears.

Not sure what issue was w/tune. but all good again.

8Vette7, Thanks for your assistance

My GUESS would be the tire size if you can change the size with that tuner, if you had the tire diameter offset different enough it would effect the t/c
