Default Biggest Engine I could Do???

Ok money is no option I really don't care about it. I am looking to buy a vette a coupe 6 spd in december/january. I am already working on a list of mods for it I was goign to upgrade the ls1 to hi perf ls6 parts cam, heads, intake but got to thinking wth why dont I just put a 427 or something in it. I still want the car to be streetable dont want a drag only car so I was wondering what I coudl put into it and what all mods are a MUST in your opinion. I plan on tubbing and a system and all I want biggest engine/best available an I am not into nitrous I would possibly do a supercharger so everyone just shoot their ideas my way.
Thanks in advance
DAve

Not much advice here ... but a 427" LS1 could set you back as much as the vette will cost you :smash:

I would recommend you to give DRM ( http://www.dougrippie.com ) a call. Get their DRM C500/RSR package and select the 427´instead of the 383' :yesnod: There is many good engine builders but no one comes close to build a car with such perfect balance between engine/brakes/suspension/chassis as DRM.

If you check my sig. you will see what I have so I would not say I'm objective in any way :D

[edit] Just noticed .. welcome to the forum !

Why would you be willing to go with an SC but not a Turbo(s)? If you are looking to be the biggest and baddest, you will never get there with a N/A engine. The top of the line LPE TT packages will dominate ANYTHING that is currently available, still have a warranty and behave like a stock car until you put your foot into it.

Do not be afraid of an LPE TT, they are the best in the business.

At a show at the GM tech center Saturday, there was a coupe with an injected 502 big block

It fit amazingly well, it actually looks as though the plugs are more accessible on that than on the LS1.

Dave,
If you want talk about big cube motors give Nate a call at 480-517-4969. We just had an increase in interest of 427's and have 2, possibly 3, customers lined up over the next couple of months. If you want the ultimate package I recommend the LPE C5R 427 TT. Davidmax has an 01 Z06 with this package. I have driven his car several times and feel at this point there is nothing out there in the C5 world that can come even close to it. On top of that Davidmax's LPE package has seen thousands of VERY HARD miles. The car continues to perform FLAWLESSLY!!! Its hard to imagine a 427 idling perfectly in 115F heat with 200F coolant temps with the AC on full blast in rush hour traffic... but John's packages do that... and do it with no complaints.
