Default Cab question

When opening and closing the doors on my Cab, the back-corner of the window hits the cab and schredding it after a while. When I'm inside, I take the window down before shutting the door, and when I'm outside I try to bend the cab out to get the window past.
My friends C5 Cab is just the same.
Is this a construction flaw, or parhaps we both have aftermarked cabs?
Any fix for this?

(hope you understood my crappy explanation...)

It would be helpful if you add to your car's description in your profile (Coupe, Convertible, or Z06). Based on what I've seen in your other posts, you have a 98 Convertible with a manual transmission. If this is true, then the window hitting the "cab" is not unusual and the "cab" needs adjustment. Here is an article related to what I think you are describing. Hope this helps.

Your explanation was not crappy. We use the terms "convertible, top, drop top, or rag top" in the USA.

Signatures are "off" by default. You have to check the "Show your signature" box if you want it to display.

If you haven't done so, you should update your "profile" in the "About Me" section. You can show the year and model of the car there too.
