The car was missing the rubber on the front Adjustable Hood Stop studs. I ordered a pair from Corvette Central and when I received them they were the wrong diameter and threading. I had no idea there was any reason to question the threading, but according to CC, at some point GM changed them and the ones I received are the only ones available. Anyone have a solution short of drilling and tapping the holes to accommodate the larger 8 mm x 1.25 threading? I could drill it out and just put a nut on both sides as well, but I'd rather it be the way it was intended rather that rigging it. I also considered pulling the rubber off the new ones and installing them on the old ones, but they won't fit there either.
Hi
Could try here also , the stops near the windshield are shorter length than the ones on the front hinge assembly just a FYI other colours available .

Yes, I've done a lot of research and digging to find a more specific detail of the part. I need to know more than a part number unfortunately. Since they only give a part number and not a thread diameter and pitch, I don't know what I'm buying.

Thanks. Unfortunately I've looked at every site and no one sells the one I need listing the thread and pitch. I emailed VetteNut but they would only sell me hinges with the studs installed instead of just removing them and selling me the studs.
If you don’t want to drill and tap for the new thread and pitch, or totally drill out and use a lock nut, then maybe buy a grade 8 stainless steel bolt in the proper thread and pitch for your car. Either a hex head or carriage which ever may allow you to transfer the rubber from the new ones to the bolts. Just a thought. Good luck.
