P1870 Transm. Comp. Slipping?
I have 3.42 A4 w/hypertech programmer. I've had these installed for about 2 mos. I just got a check engine light(steady light). What does this code mean? Will the 3.42's void my drivetraiin warranty, will Chevy know that they are there? Help!

Do a search on P1870 in both this forum and C5 Scan & Tune forum and you'll find several threads describing the issue.
You likely do not have a mechanical issue that would involve your dealer, just a programming problem.
