Seat Adjuster Switch Stuck
On my C5's passenger side seat, there are 3 adjustment switches that are stuck in the "ON" position. This caused the motor for the seat control to run constantly and killing the battery. I disconnected the wiring harness and the seat motor stopped running. When disconnected, I still move the seat in the forward and back positions. Could someone please help me diagnose the problem, and possibly help fix it? Thank You.

Sounds like you may have 2 issues with the passenger seat.
1. controls that are damaged
2. rocking seat issue
From the picture posted it looks like at some point in the past a liquid was spilled into the controls. A replacement of the seat controls would correct this.
I had to do this with the C5 my brother bought last year. Previous owner spilled coffee or something similar and corded the circuit board inside. Had to get a replacement.
As to the other issue, being able to still move the seat. Does it move about .25 to .5 inches front to back? If so the rubber spacer in the seat track has deteriorated. This fails over time and there are several kit sold by forum vendors to replace the rubber piece with a nylon spacer.
Where are you located? I have done this repair on at least 5 seats. I also have a spare seat control switch assembly. I am in Southern California, if you are local to me I can help with the repairs.
