That is the exact mounts I used when I rebuilt my motor in May 0f 2015. I got them on a wholesaler close out for 12.00 each. They have held up just fine as far as I can tell.
I had some Hinson mounts and would do them again. No vibration, but the driveline felt solid. Have Pfadt now and there's vibration. I don't mind but not everyone would like it.

I have pfadt motor mounts and they have been great, that design does a really good job of keeping the motor and drivetrain solid... I am not a fan of how they went under and screwed some people over then came back under a parent company along with big price increases though so I'm more reluctant to recommend them after that... sometimes you see them pop up for sale for good deals and there is also a company called fabberge that makes mounts identical to pfadts... I think lmr was making them at one point too but not sure if they still do... I personally don't like the design of the hinson mounts but I would rather have them than stock... stock mounts are horrible in my opinion if you want to add power, especially mods such as a cam that will cause the motor to move even more... but if your car is stock or you don't plan on adding much power you would probably be fine with oem replacements

mine don't vibrate, usually more auto cars seem to have vibration issues than 6 speed cars... if you aren't planning on adding a cam or big hp mods then I would just go with stock and save the money
Great thread. I don't have much to add- I didn't realize the Summit Ones were available. I ordered OEM ones but haven't put them in yet. From previous experience on a different car, I did not like poly mounts at all due to the increased vibration (daily driver car) but understandably that was a completely different platform...

I'm going to get Hinson for my car. Nearly 17 yrs old, 127,000 miles and will be installing long tube headers in the spring. Plus I'm not taking any chances on steering rubbing issues so better safe than sorry.

why do those mounts keep the headers from the steering shaft ???? the engine sit higher ?

Stock are rubber and have oil in them and can sag after all these years. Plus the XSpower headers have sometimes had an issue with that so I'm not taking any chances. Already have the headers, looking forward to spring.

I have the XSPower headers and that is another reason I'm changing the mounts. however I have very slight rub on the shaft, only happens under hard acceleration turning to the right !!!(mounts allow the engine to shift to towards the steering shaft ?????)
I've installed 3 sets of the Hinson mounts in all 3 of my C5s. 2 of the short version and 1 stock height. They are very nice mounts and no vibration felt at all.
