Isn't the LS6 block and different casting then the LS1? I also think that the later LS1 engines use the beefier LS6 block as the standard block. True/False??

During the model year 2001, LS6 and LS1's share the same block on regular production (don't know the date of the change, but there have been many posts regarding this change). The replacement block listed above reflects the change. :cheers:
