Car is a 97 coupe m6. Currently have 243 castings on my Texas Speed 408 stroker, as far as I know the have not been machined. Recently dynoed at 460 rwhp/450tq on a Dynojet. It has an ls6 intake and ls2 tb I believe. Looking for more power in heads and intake, going with a fast 92 but which heads should I run? Thanks for any input.

This is input only. I ran AFR 235 heads on my 408 with a BT cam and made 545 RWHP on a Mustang dyno. That was with a Fast 102, Nick Williams 102 TB, C6 type Haltech CIA, and 42lb injectors.
AFR, Trick Flows, Mast, quite a few options. I have a 418ci and made 490/486. This was thru TEA stage 2 243's, custom grind from EPS, unported FAST 92, unported LS2 TB. I still don't have "enough" head for this monster. LS3 heads can make the power as well and since I was on a budget and thought keeping my heads for porting would have been cheaper but the LS3 route was probably what I should've chosen. Oh well she is a beast nonetheless and maybe one day ill pony up for Trick Flow 235's. TQ is great but could have made a few more ponies on the high end. Be prepared to spend some money. Of the ones I listed, hard to come by with whats needed for under 3k brand new. Unless you find a good used set from someone.
Thanks for choosing TSP for your short block. We'd love the opportunity to discuss a PRC aftermarket casting for your project.
With the PRC you get a hollow stem valve, your choice of guide material, milling to your specs & your choice of valve spring standard! Not to mention you can select a 227, 237 and a 247 cc runner option!
Just ask the fastest 6 speed ls car in the country. I think he'll tell you the PRC heads fly!!
Checkout the Hot Rod magazine cathedral port head shootout. I think you'll find considering the PRC head was the smaller 237 version that the PRC head is extremely hard to beat! Imagine if the 247 head would have been completed at that time?
Also the PRC heads give you hollow stem valves FREE which is a needed option at this valve weight!
