in a way that is true... you can just as easily blow it up with 2psi as you could with 20psi... make sure you have plenty of fuel and a really good tune and they can last longer than you might think... what are your power goals with the car?

Which version of the LS engine are you planning on using? LS1, LS6, etc.?

First... The search function is your friend.

Also, there is a whole page dedicated to C5s with blower and nitrous.

As for 600 to the wheels... Sure. 12psi and a methanol kit. The tune is your key investment though. And it wouldn't hurt to start saving for new block and trans.

600 is a piece of cake... the more mods you do to increase airflow in and out of the engine will allow you to make more power on lower boost pressures... you can still make 600 on a completely stock motor it's just going to take more boost to do it compared to one with headers, cam, ported heads, etc... and as I stated just make sure you have enough fuel and a good tune... for 600 you could probably get away with a 255 in tank pump, boost a pump, and 60lb injectors at the bare minimum but adding meth is never a bad idea in my opinion... depending on how bad you get the disease it can turn into a snowball effect and get very expensive but it is a lot of fun
