I'm about to buy a 2000 FRC with 70k miles. The seller has admitted that the oil pressure sensor has failed (rests on 80psi) but other than that, he assures me there are no other problems. I asked him to pull the codes from the DIC. These are the codes that are showing (photos attached). Since they're all saying "H" does that mean they shouldn't throw me any major red flags? Could they have "H" simply b/c he cleared the codes? What do you guys think? Any input is greatly valued.
I've driven the same vehicle (2000 S10) for 16 years so this is a big deal to me.
Thanks,
Craig

Since the oil pressure sender will need to be repaired anyway, and since it is a somewhat inexpensive job, I would have the sender repaired as a condition of the deal.
At the very least, find a way so you don't get bad oil pressure news when you hook up the sensor on your dime

think I'll take you up on your advice. hopefully the seller obliges.
here's the Carfax. Just noticed (not highlighted) at the very top of pg. 1 the radio was replaced in it's first year. Seems weird but I guess ok. It currently has a stock radio in it.
Another weird thing is that the windshield molding was replaced the next year, the instrument panel shortly thereafter, the rear differential shortly thereafter, and the battery has been replaced twice within 3 years. The window regulators were replaced multiple times.
Should I be concerned? There is almost no info on the Carfax aftter 2006.
The seller provided me a receipt of a recent oil change. I called the service shop and the receptionist said they don't report their services to Carfax. Should that concern me at all? Seems like nowadays it would be standard.
Most of the codes ("H") I'm seeing are typically a result of the battery being extremely low or disconnected in the recent past. Codes followed by a "C" (or H C) are indicative of current problems.
Changing the oil sensor can be costly if you have a shop do it as they will charge for the "full monty" procedure to change it. The oil sensor is actually something that most can change out themselves with a few tools. It can be a pain, but there are a bunch of video's on line that show exactly how to do it. Many also say it can be done without removing the intake manifold. If you like the car and the price is right, I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker.

Good luck... GUSTO
The seller last responded saying that he'll get the oil pressure sensor replaced. Things seem to be looking up. We'll see...
