Default Question about shocks!

About 2 weeks ago i painted my calipers on my 98. I had the car on 4 jack stands placed in pretty much the only place they could go the center letting the axles hang without the tires or wheels on. After the paint on the calipers finally dryed i went to put them on, no problem. So now i go to lower the car and i get all all four tires on the ground but it looks like i put a four inch lift on the car. It's been on all four tires for about six days.Still not going back down. What the hell can i do now? Please help!

Steve :(

Have you driven the car since you set it back down? When you jack up the car, the tires swing inwards a bit. When you lower the car back down, It's possible that the wheels are being held inward keeping the suspension from fully swinging back up. Drive it around the block a few times.
