Which ramps
Which ramps work the best with a vette. I bought a set of rhino ramps but have not tried them yet. I have seen the race ramps but they make so many different types.

The RR-56-2 or RR-XT-2 race ramps will work with your C5 unless it is lowered significantly below stock.

With the SAVE10 coupon code and and $20 factory rebate thru 31-Mar-2016 the 56" ramps are about $185 and the 67" ramps are about $280.

I too use Rhino Ramps for oil changes. They work fine for me, but the Race Ramps are probably a better ramp overall, but way more expensive.

While Race Ramps may cost more initially than Rhino Ramps, the total cost of ownership (TCO) is not unreasonable. Down the road if you ever go to sell the Race Ramps, you will get 50% to 75% of what you paid for them compared to next to nothing for Rhino Ramps. You can really minimize the TCO by purchasing a used set of Race Ramps.
There is a big difference between Race Ramps and Rhino Ramps. The height and width of the popular 56" and 67" Race Ramps is significantly greater than Rhino Ramps. Anyone who has used both ramp types can attest to how much easier and safer Race Ramps are compared to Rhino Ramps.

Yes. But, the HD ramps are more durable and there is no downside to getting the higher capacity ramps, provided that the incline angle of 10.8 degrees works for your chassis.
I have a special coupon code of "HD50" to save $50 on HD ramps thru 31-Mar-2016. The ramps are also eligible for the $20 cash back factory rebate.

If you do need a lower incline angle you can get the RR-72-2-HD, RLL-72-14-2-HD, or RLL-87-2-HD ramp models.

For the price of race ramps you can get a set of 12 ton locking jack stands and almost have enough left over a HF low profile high lift jack. That's the setup I'm running and they provide enough motor to drop the front cradle/pull a motor.
