Default Power steering leak

So I noticed a drip under my car (that I haven't even started up in like a month). Thought it was coming from the rear main seal because there was moistness () coming off of the bellhousing. Didnt think to smell it as it looked like oil. Come to find out clutch is dry.

Checked the fluid with the finger and smell test () and its all PS fluid. Pulled the pump and cooler cause Im pulling the motor anyway and noticed build up on the lines. So it looks like the lines are leaking. Anybody replaced these lines?

My question: Is there an easy way to just buy like the whole line assembly cheaply? The one I think is leaking is the molded curve looking one. Sorry if this is a bad description but Im at work or id just post a picture.

I don't like leaks so this has to be fixed before I put everything back together after power washing it all.

I'm sure someone has. The east coast should be getting home from work and finishing supper soon. Then they will be online. I'm needing more help myself so patiently waiting...

I haven't had to replace anything power steering rise. From a lot of my time spent here, that isn't something I have personally seen people say they have had a problem with. I'm sorry as I wont be much help to you. Have you researched the part? I thought it came as an assembly

Looks like the pump comes by its self without the pully and all. But the rest of the stuff may come separate. Im not even sure. But finding GM part numbers is a PITA. My local dealership wont give me part numbers on anything.

It is weird though. I only found a handful of threads that had anyone mention a PS leak not at the rack. But I can definitely confirm its coming from one of the hoses. Another weird thing is that the reservoir was full. But maybe that's cause I hadn't driven the car in like 3 months and only drove it around the block and then parked it in the garage again and left it. It looks like its leaking from one of the little metal clamps on the hose. Might just try to get another section of hose from the parts store and use a metal Zip tie. But the OEM hose is probably stupid cheap so Id rather buy one if I could.

Maybe I should give the dealership a call again or call Cultrag and see what they got.

I found the o-rings at the steering rack where the hoses connect had gotten hard and the connections were starting to leak when I replaced my balancer a few years ago. Are you 100% positive the lines themselves are leaking? If you haven't cleaned everything off yet you might be able to pinpoint the source of the leak by looking at the pattern of crud accumulation. Good luck.

I power washed everything before I put the motor back together last time. The rack is clean. This leak is 100% coming from the hose that's coming off the pump assembly its self.

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to have the part number for the cooler would you?

Isn't #12 the rubber hose that runs from the top of the cooler all the way to the bottom of the reservoir. I don't have the car in front of me but couldn't you just measure the hose inlet, run to autozone get some heater/vacuum hose in the size you need cut to length and replace?

I get the feeling the hoses going to my cooler have been modified after looking at that diagram of the ps cooler. I'm in the process of doing an oil change and have my car on jack stands, I'll snap some pics of how mine is routed, maybe it will help you out.
