Default Header Install

Looking at a killer deal on a set of Pfadt Tri-Y headers for my 98 coupe. Has anybody installed a set on your C5 ? I helped a corvette buddy install a set on his C6 and it was reasonably easy. Just wondering if installing on a C5 is just as easy or your basic PITA. Comments Suggestions ?

the only significant difference I can think of is the c5 oil pan getting in the way... any set of headers I've done on a c5 the "batwing" part of the pan makes the install a bit more difficult because the 2 front primaries always end up hitting there when you're trying to slide them in

I would think the tri-y design would offer more wiggle room for installation that a set of regular long tubes. I'd search the web for some information about specific installation instructions for them and go from there.

I installed a set of Dynatech LT's on my 2000 FRC and the only real issue I had was the drivers side I had to unbolt the motor mount, raise the motor about an inch and disconnect the steering wheel to slide the drivers side in. Other than that not a big deal. The passenger side slid in without to much trouble. Just a matter of time.
