Default Question about long tubes

I currently have the AIR system hooked up on the shorty headers I have. I was looking at getting a set of TSP lt's and they do not have the AIR system fittings. So do you have to remove those components or just use a block off plate or what? Also that has to specifically be tuned out right? Lastly, does anyone know if you can get the TSP headers with the AIR fittings? Thanks guys

get rid of the whole air system, it is only used when the engine is cold to heat up the converters faster !!!!!!!!!!

Is there much work involved with that? I am not going to be doing the header install I have a really good GM mechanic that will do that so I guess I'll just have him remove the system

The hard part is where the hose/tubes are attached behind the intake, the pump is under the left front fender(in the front) it sure cleans up the engine bay, makes it easier to change plugs etc. I removed mine when I installed headers and LS 6 intake !!!!!

I will probably do this, but the alternative to removing the system is just to put on block off plates right?

The block off plates are for the headers (when equiped) when you have removed the air system not the other way around !!!!!! ether way it will throw a code !!!! So if you do headers you should get a tune and have the air system deleted !!!

I've already had the rear 02's tuned out but I will need to have the air system tuned out. So what are done with the open plates of the air system if they're not removed?
