Yes sir after market LT headers .
Believe it or not purchased a Tick clutch master cylinder and started to do install did not realize you can not get to the connector in the line it's tucked behind the DS header .
unbolted DS header but can not get x pipe mid pipe off . Just about top bail on the install and put it all back together .
But also eventually wanted to get a new clutch installed and the same problem can occur.. need to get headers off sometime ..

I just did a tick clutch master on a car that had 2" headers and I was able to get the clutch line disconnected pretty easily... do you have a disconnect tool?... I just think it would be a pain in the butt to have to remove the header and midpipe for that... if you insist on removing the midpipe I would get at least a few bolts back in the header to hold it in place before you go yanking on the midpipe... what brand of headers do you have?... if they use ball and socket joints like arh/kooks they should come apart pretty easily once unbolted... if you have slip fit connections like lg's a little wd40 will help loosen it up and just get under the car and wrestle the midpipe out
My headers have slip connection . I can hardly get a few fingers on line connection so don't see how will get a the line tool on it and be able to hold it ..
Will try heat and the rust buster spray ..
