After about a week or more of my car sitting in the driveway on a incline I noticed a small amount of oil on the ground. I would say maybe 3 ounces of oil. So I cleaned it up tighten the bolts on the pan, the low oil sensor, and the oil pan drain bolt. Everything seemed good. I did that about two months ago and monitored it. No suspected oil leak. I let my car sit once again for over a week until yesterday and I noticed the same amount of oil on the ground. I have yet to investigate it again. I have noticed that my oil pressure gets up to 55 psi until my car gets to normal operating temperature. Then sits at about 40 psi. The first oil leak I had to service 1 qt. The second time I serviced the car with oil was yesterday and it was half a qt low.
Any suggestions as to what it could be?
Thanks,

that sounds like a pretty significant oil leak to me... I would get the car in the air and have a look underneath, a leak that big should be pretty obvious

Do you have any suggestions as to what I should be looking for specifically? The first time I cleaned everything it didn't look like it came from a specific area.

I would check your oil pressure sending unit for leaks. They are prone to leaking, and still work until they finally fail and give you incorrect oil pressure readings. It is not in the greatest location to easily examine or see, but if you have a bright flashlight, and get up on the rear of the engine and look below the intake manifold you may see the source of your leak.

Thanks for the info! I'll most likely be looking into this on Thursday.
