Default 2000 C5 headlight problems

Need your advice. The headlight switch on the turn signal stopped working so I used the DIC to turn on the twilight and that worked three times.

Now the lights come on but the buckets do not pop up.

As I recall in another thread, there are two possible failures. One is the headlight switch on the turn signal stalk. What is the other item that could be causing this problem?

My car was built in December of 1999.

Thanks, corv2k

Could be the HL control module. Not at home now but I doubt it is a fuse issue.

Mr. Sam

Here is a link with an identical issue that is going on now in the Tech Forum.

I do not have a HL motor or gear problem... Already replaced the plastic gears with brass. This seems to be electrical.

If i replace the HL control module and the HL switch, should that fix the problem?
