The Nitto DR's have pereformed well for me when heated up with a furious burnout before staging.. :yesnod: BUT they are really NOT a daily street tire IMO.Allthough I have the Nitto 555's on the car..the tread pattern does match..I 've only had the DR's on for a week at the most.
They will allow you to drive to and from the track with relatively good handling....except in the rainy weather. But as Tracy said..best bet is to get a second set of wheels just for the track....makes sense!
Yup you probably have Nitto street tires. They should say Drag Radial on the side and my experince is as a drag radial they are not as good as the BFG but as a street tire the tread will last a little lonter.
If you have Nitto DR's on the car take em off and get some regular tires unless you are racing often.
