Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (QuickSilver2002)
I have the setup and have ran it on the track as well as the street. The Quality of the wheel is outstanding as well as the way the car rides. It is the best Bang for the buck (as they say) in the T&W department. :)
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (QuickSilver2002)
I was running the 18x11.5 w/335's, but unfortunately for me I couldn't get them to stop rubbing so I went to an 18x11 with 295's with no rubbing at all. Here are a few pics I took with the 335's for you to check out.
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (John's vette)
I run CCW 18x9.5 and 18x11.0 on my car with 265-35-18 and 295-35-18s. I went for the 11.0's with 295s so that they sit COMPLETELY flush with the edge of the wheelwell. I have a pet peeve of rims that stick out past the wheelwell AT ALL so I went with this setup to maintain the look I demand with aftermarket wheels. Also, I feel the BFG Gforce KDs are the best tires available and I wanted to run the biggest tire they are made in 295-35-18, and an 11" width is all I needed.
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (NJCRUISER)
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Z06 have slightly more wheel well clearance than the normal vette thus allowing 335's without rubbing?
The Z06 has no different wheelwell clearance than a standard C5. The only way you can get 335s on a car without tubbing is to put them on 11.5" rims with the maximum backspacing possible on an untubbed car which is 8.75". If you do tub, you can get up to 9.75" backspacing I believe before you have clearance problems with suspension components.
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (tscales)
Thanks guys,
That is exactly the info I was looking for. That setup seems to look very good. I can't wait to slap them on. I'm slightly concerned a about how much they will stick out, but I think I can live with it.
I'll do some before and after pics when I get mine in a week or so.
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (msuc5vette)
I paid John about $3500 for a set of wheels, a brand-new set of Michelin Pilot Sports (he bought them from tirerack and passed them through at his cost) and a full set of new sensors.
Re: Anyone with this CCW setup? Pics please! (QuickSilver2002)
Looks like I'm getting a set of CCWs to support the power of the ATI.
18x11.5 rears with 335-30s
18x10 fronts with 275/285-30s
Does anyone have pics of this setup? Comments would also be appriciated.

I have them on my car!!!!I was one of the first few on the forum to get CCW's and they are great wheels!!!!!!!!I'm actually thinking about having them widened in the rear to 12.5 and tubbing my car.The new Pirelli's I got are recomended to fit better on a bigger wheel. You can't go wrong with the choice.I also went up from 285/35 to 295/30 in front with no problems!!!
