HELP!! weird noise
I took my car into the Goodyear shop a couple weeks ago to put on my new tires (goodyear runflats) when I drove away I noticed a slight knocking sound comming from the front right tire area. I was pretty quiet so I didnt think much of it, then it stared to get louder so I took it back, they raised the car up and said the coudnt find anything wrong, so I figured i would go away, It still was there after leaving so I bought it back again and they drove it, they claim that it isnt something that they can figure out and cant find any reason why it would be making te noise. Anyone ever had this problem>? what should I do?

Did they look for the obvious first, loose or missing lug nuts? Are they torqued to spec. Did they leave anything (tools) inside a tire? (Don't laugh, I've ssen this). Did they take any of the brake components loose while working on your car?

They say they have looked through everything and cant find the problem......They looked under the car and around the wheel......THe only thing they said was to keep driving it and if it becomes more noticable to bring it back and they will look again.........but obviouly there is something wrong.

does it knock when you hit a bump with that wheel but not on the other wheel?
if yes, check and see if the swaybar endlink is loose on that side.

The tire sensor being loose could be a possibility.........The noise comes only on the front right tire area and it is most noticable when i hit a bump or on pump ground.........
