1999 FRC AC issue
Hello, I just bought a 1999 FRC 2 days ago. AC was freezing cold and I had to use the defrost on windshield. When I turned the air from cold to hot the air now blows HOT no matter what I do. Pressed and depressed the AC button hasn't helped. Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks oh, car had 112XXX miles and runs like a top otherwise.

Well.... I'm as confused as ever... didn't use the AC yesterday (or attempted to turn it on) and turned it on this afternoon and it works perfectly. .. I guess giving her a name at lunch helped... DAMNIFIKNOW!

That can happen when an actuator doesn't function properly. There are many possible causes. If this happened there is likely a history code set. You have to use the dic to see these type of codes. The code will be set in the hvac section. If there is a code set for the actuator just clear it and hope it doesn't return.
