LS2 starter on a LS6
Does anyone know if a LS2 starter would work on a LS6?
I have a TTix turbo system and the stock LS6 starter is very very close to the exhaust side of turbo. It's cooked my starter solenoid (AGAIN!).
I read that the LS2 starter is shorter in length, which would give me room to do some proper shielding.

I'm using a new Bosch SR8581N on my LS7 block. These starters use two long bolts instead of one long/one short and Bosch includes the extra bolt. Amazon has it for a little over $100.
Btw, DISREGARD the picture that Amazon uses to "show" the item, it is wrong. It's a "file photo" I guess. The part number however, IS correct.
