Hi Guys,
I just finished a Tick MS install . Was reading other threads about adjustment .
Started with CL pedal all the way at floor adjusted it out until I could get CL to disengage . Went through gears at idle shifts fine thought all gears but CL Pedal is about 3" below Brake pedal ? I read where CL pedal should end up about 1" below brake and I can feel pedal takes more pressure to press but guess thats from it pushing more fluid .
I just want to be sure I am getting adjustment correct . Have two HPDE days coming up and really don't want to fry the pressure plate for release bearing .
From what i spoke with tick about mine, when it was installed. The clutch pedal should be the same height woth the brake pedal. Or slightly below it. Recheck tour adjustment.
Umm ,
Not what read in forums and in directions says to start at bottom and work the way up to just engage ?
Wish there was definite was of knowing and not guessing at it ..
Just readjusted and pedal is know about 2 " down from Brake . CL starts to engage about 2-3" up from floor seems to shift smooth and no movement with clutch in and rev rpm to about 3k .

I just spoke with Tick .
Told them my adjustment procedure and where I ended up . They said sound about right also and only way can really hurt the throw out bearing and PP would be to adjust CL Pedal higher than Brake Pedal .
